Fame the Musical

I feel it comin’ together
People will see me and cry, fame
I’m gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame, fame
I’m gonna live forever
Baby, remember my name
Remember, remember, remember, remember
Remember, remember, remember, remember

Well I will certainly remember the fabulous performance of Fame the Musical that I recently enjoyed at the Palace Theatre, Manchester.

From the standing ovation for Mica Paris half way through the show for her incredible soul performance of ‘These are my Children’ to  the stage debut by Jorgie Porter and the memorable role of Tyrone played by Jamal Kane Crawford. This show really was one to shout about.

A high energy show set in and around the High School of Performing Arts in New York highlights the real determination for these kids to succeed.  The show is non stop with simply brilliant choreography coupled with music and neon lights.

If you ever get the chance to see it – then I would thoroughly recommend that you go along.  Sadly it has now finished the run at the Palace – but there are many more shows to go along and see.
