Three magical nights in Paris

Paris, a place filled of dreams, thousands of croissants and picturesque views that would make instagrammes’ at home green with envy.

Whether you’re here for weekend or for the week, choosing how to spend your time in Paris may seem overwhelming as there is so much to see and do.

Having been to Paris myself, I have picked out my highlights of the trip which I hope will help you along the way.

We stayed in the center of Paris, at hotel Des Champs-Elysees. I would definitely recommend staying here, although it may be a little pricey, the beautiful views and location made up for it!

Wandering around this classic, cool and romantic city we couldn’t wait to see what Paris had to offer. 100 selfies later, with almost every landmark covered, including the Eiffel tower and arc De Triumph, we were certainty ready for some food to fill our empty stomachs.

We had been recommended to try out ‘the cafe with the famous hot chocolate’  Angelica’s. This smart, grand tea room is situated in the heart of Rue de Rivoli. The macaroons and pastries as you walk in are enough to make you want to stay at this place forever. If you are reading this and you like chocolate, do NOT turn the hot chocolate down you will regret it!

Angelica’s – One of the best bagels I’ve ever had!

The next two days were again filled with sightseeing and A LOT of walking – some advice for you all, take comfy shoes. We visited Musee du Louvre, where inside you will find the smallest photograph of Mona Lisa and the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral.

Our favorite place we visited would have to be the Le Marais, often refereed to as the Jewish Quarter. It was incredible to see the cobblestone streets wind through Le Marais’, authentic hidden courtyards and provocative galleries. Plus if you’re a fallafel fan like me this is the place to be! I would highly reccommend L’As du Fallafel.

Our short 3 night stay in Paris was the perfect, romantic city break we needed and I look forward to revisiting this fascinating place again in the future.
