The Hale and Bowdon blog were invited to revisit Fireworks dessert restaurant in Altrincham after their opening back in February – and must admit that we were blown away with our spectacular desserts and warm welcome from all the team at Fireworks!
Having relaunched the setup within the restaurant, Fireworks is confident that they have developed a one of a kind experience that no other place can offer.
‘Fireworks is all about fun’
It was a great afternoon learning about all the delicious, delightful and daring desserts Fireworks have invented. We were immediately drawn to the selection of eye popping desserts when looking through the menu – a huge variety of Willy Wonka-style treats that offer a whole new level of fun. Their sole aim is to WOW people with their extravagant creations, for those indulgent moments. From sundaes to pancakes or ice cream and sorbet, there is something for everyone.
The watermelon ice cream is one of the unique flavours to choose from, and it really got the taste buds tingling! Creamy, refreshing and juicy? A taste sensation.
We were particularly amazed by the range of ‘Explosive desserts’ which were humongous in both size and personality.
Best seller ‘Gold Rush’ was one of the sweet treats we tasted that afternoon. A deluxe triple toffee sundae made with crunchy pretzels, chocolate, popcorn, salted caramel ice cream, 24 carat gold leaf and finally finished with a shimmer of gold dust. It exhilarated all the senses and was truly luxurious.
The family-focused venture has some exciting plans for the restaurant with experiences inspired by their neighbouring venue Altrincham Cinema. Fireworks aims to create an extended menu for the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast- hitting the cinemas March 17th.
A real treat for all the Disney fanatics out there!
Fireworks will also be offering bespoke event packages that can cater for children’s birthday parties or afternoon tea with the girls.
Whatever it may be, Fireworks has it all.
